Conclusion

Posterior dislocation of the elbow associated with fracture of the radial head and olecranon, and medial collateral ligament disruption may be a rare subgroup of elbow dislocation.

Supporting Evidence

  • The patient received early functional treatment and obtained a good outcome.
  • Functional recovery was complete in about 3 months.

Takeaway

Methodology

The case involved a 38-year-old male who underwent surgery after sustaining an elbow dislocation with fractures.
