Conclusion
The increasing incidence of HIV/VL co-infection in India is of utmost importance, and managing these cases is particularly challenging.

- The patient had a positive Western Blot for HIV1 and a CD4 count of 180/μl.
- After treatment, the patient's CD4 count increased to 300/ml and he was able to walk with less tremor.
