The study found distinct patterns of rushed and unfinished care among care aides, indicating a need for targeted interventions.
Supporting Evidence
- A 4-class model emerged as the best-fit model for our data.
- Group 1 reported high levels of rushed and unfinished care.
- Group 2 was low on both rushed and unfinished care.
- Group 3 reported high rushed care.
- Group 4 reported medium rushed care.
Takeaway
Some caregivers in nursing homes rush their work or leave tasks unfinished, and we found different groups of caregivers who do this in similar ways.
