Hypothesis

There is a correlation between portal blood flow, O2 and CO2 gradients, hepatic lactate gradient, and hepatic tissue PO2.

Conclusion

Hepatic tissue PO2 is linked to portal blood flow and inversely related to the jejune tissue PCO2 gap.
