Hypothesis
The study aimed to evaluate the effects of enamel matrix derivative (EMD), TGF-β1, and their combination on human osteoblastic cell cultures.
Conclusion
The exposure of human osteoblastic cells to EMD, TGF-β1, and their combination in vitro supports a less differentiated phenotype with increased cell proliferation but reduced alkaline phosphatase activity and matrix mineralization.
